Underwriting Team Leader

As the Air Risk Solutions Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Underwriting team and will manage the relationships with our capacity providers.
So, what does the role of Air Risk Solutions Team Leader involve ?
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of your team and supporting your Branch Director.
- Ensuring that the Underwriters and Account Handlers work within the confines of the Delegated Authorities that are in place
- Supervising the team and ensuring that they work with the confines of the company processes and procedures.
- Ensuring that the department achieve it’s growth targets
- Monitoring Loss ratios with insurers
- Forming relationships with a panel of approved brokers.
- Forming relationships with our capacity providers.
- File audits and audit feedback.
- Facilitating external audits where necessary.
- Responsible for the setting of personal training plans and carrying out appraisals for your direct reports
- Monitoring workflow.
- Help with FNOL to Insurers and some claims administration.
- Adhoc reports
- System and Product Development involving Liaison with External Software Consultants.
- Managing Bordereaux returns and dealing with queries.
