New Business Advisor

We're looking for an ambitious New Business Insurance Advisor to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in generating and converting new business opportunities, helping clients find the right insurance solutions while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
As a New Business Insurance Advisor, you'll be responsible for proactively identifying prospects, generating leads, building relationships, and converting opportunities into profitable business.
What will you do as a New Business Insurance Advisor?
Making outbound sales calls to prospective clients using both self-generated and company-provided leads.
Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through networking, referrals, marketing campaigns, and lead generation activities.
Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
Understanding clients' insurance requirements and recommending suitable insurance solutions.
Preparing and presenting quotations while clearly explaining cover, terms, and conditions.
Following up on quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion opportunities.
Developing strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Maintaining accurate customer records using the company CRM system.
Working closely with insurers, underwriters, and internal teams to achieve the best outcomes for customers.
Meeting and exceeding agreed sales, activity, and conversion targets.
Staying up to date with insurance products, market developments, and regulatory requirements.
Ensuring all activity is conducted in line with FCA regulations and company standards.
What are we looking for in our next New Business Insurance Advisor?
Cert CII qualification, or a willingness to work towards professional insurance qualifications.
Knowledge of FCA regulations and insurance compliance requirements.
Previous experience in insurance sales, telesales, or a customer-facing sales environment.
Proven experience in outbound calling and lead generation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
A target-driven mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Competent user of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
Experience within commercial, specialist, or personal lines insurance.
