Applications Delivery Manager
This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
Why this role matters
We’re growing fast — and so is the scale of our technology ambition. We’re expanding our Applications Delivery team and looking for an Applications Delivery Manager to lead change across our Low Code Application Delivery function. You’ll play a key role in supporting the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of applications on our Low Code strategic platforms.
This is a great opportunity to influence how a major insurance group delivers technology change, working closely with senior stakeholders and helping shape our application roadmap.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll shape and deliver the application change agenda across our Low Code application landscape. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead the Low Code Application Delivery team upgrades and legacy application replacements as part of the strategic roadmap to centralise products onto core systems.
Partner with the Head of Low Code Delivery to deliver key projects to rebuild PAS legacy products onto our strategic core platforms.
Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of migration and change activities through the full SDLC.
Prioritise work and manage resources to meet business goals.
Build strong relationships with vendors, partners and offshore teams.
Promote secure, scalable engineering best practice.
Support wider group technology goals with reusable, future‑proof solutions.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring experience leading application delivery or development teams, ideally within an Agile environment. Insurance PAS experience is a bonus, but not essential — what matters most is your ability to manage complex change, communicate clearly, and build trust with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
You’ll be:
A proactive leader who takes ownership and drives solutions.
Skilled at building relationships with partners and software houses.Technically credible and confident with senior stakeholders.
Able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Organised, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
This is a remote role, with occasional travel as needed.
In return you will be welcomed and supported by our Ardonagh family and be joining an organisation that cares about you as a person and your wellbeing. Some of the other benefits are:
Holiday entitlement of 26 days plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service
35 hour working week
Opportunity to progress your career across the entire Ardonagh family
