Insurance Broking Finance Assistant
Looking for a role where your financial skills make a real impact? We’re offering an exciting hybrid opportunity to join our Client Money team in Leeds, ensuring financial transactions in insurance broking are managed with accuracy, compliance, and care.
With excellent transport links nearby, this role combines professional challenge with convenience.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in safeguarding client funds and supporting our brokers and partners. Responsibilities include:
Reconciling and processing transactions across client & insurer payments, payaways, and bordereaux
Managing your own workload to meet agreed service levels and quality standards
Building strong relationships across IBA departments and broker teams to resolve queries quickly
Supporting audits, process reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with FCA client and insurer money rules, identifying and recording any breaches

Qualifications & Experience
Financial experience in an insurance broking environment is desirable
GCSE Maths and English (grade 5 or above) or equivalent required
Knowledge of Client Money (CASS 5) is an advantage, but not essential
