Hybrid in Rayleigh - FTC (Maternity cover) for 7 - 12 Months

We have an exciting opportunity to join us on a fixed term contract as an Underwriting Assistant in our Rayleigh office. You will be a point of contact for day-to-day administration from clients, providers and other internal and external sources.

 What you will do as an Underwriting Assistant:

This is an overview of duties and responsibilities and not an exhaustive list.

• To support all underwriting colleagues as required.

• To answer queries from internal and external stakeholders by telephone and email.

• Independently respond to queries in a proactive manner, meeting agreed SLAs

• Ensure that client records and in-house system are always kept up to date.

• Attend meetings as required.

 What we are looking for in an Underwriting Assistant:

• Previous office-based administration experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Strong Microsoft package ability.
