Team Manager
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Enterprise team as a Team Manager.
Reporting into the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of Enterprise employee benefits consultants, including all elements of people management and associated team targets. You will successfully manage a small portfolio of clients. Managing, retaining and developing a portfolio of clients, typically managed through telephone/Teams account management and other remote relationship techniques.

What you will do as a Team Manager:
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
Ensure the team’s client portfolio runs smoothly and profitably.
Ensure all team targets are met, including new business generation within own team and outbound referrals to other teams.
Professionally deal with all people management issues for direct reports.
Involvement in recruitment and interviewing.
Support line manager in delivery of wider business plan.
Performance management and development of a team of employee benefits consultants to hit key targets relating to renewal income, new business income, referral generation and compliance metrics.
Collaborate with other business leaders to ensure successful client retention and growth in all areas.
Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports to determine performance and development needs.
Involved in the training and development of colleagues.
What we are looking for in a Team Manager:
A minimum of 2 years group risk experience in a broking or advisory environment.
Ability to lead a team of consultants to operate effectively and meet team targets.
Ability to mentor and coach less experienced colleagues.
A proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and all aspects of their policy management.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills along with a confident, personable telephone manner.
Professional, customer focussed approach internally and externally when dealing with colleagues and distribution partners.
Well organised and able to respond well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
