Key Responsibilities in the Account Manager Role
Reporting to your Line Manager, your focus will be on meeting and exceeding annual objectives while delivering outstanding service in the following areas:
Manage and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact
Identify client needs and proactively provide solutions to develop growth opportunities.
Work closely with internal teams to deliver client requirements to the highest standards
Monitor account performance, resolve queries efficiently, and ensure all Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded
Maintain up-to-date records and provide regular reports on account activity
Support business development, onboarding, and project delivery as required
Stay informed of industry changes and compliance requirements, ensuring best practices at all times
Skills and Experience We Value in an Account Manager
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
Experience within either/both of the HR/Health & Safety consultancy industries would be advantageous.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to build rapport, earning client trust to maintain long-term relationships
Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach to challenges and change
Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in account management, client services, or a related field is desirable
Comfortable working independently and as part of a dynamic team
