Administration Assistant

We’re on the hunt for a talented Administration Assistant to join our team in our Telford office. to meet the needs of the business following continued growth and internal promotions. You will be required to provide administrative support to the Account Executives and rest of the teams as required.
What does an Administration Assistant here do?
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
- To invoice policies and set up premium finance arrangements, where necessary
- To manage aged debt, chasing outstanding money from clients
- Arranging for refunds to be processed, either by amending finance arrangements or sending money back to client
- To complete internal reporting to ensure all clients and policies are logged and tracked
- To complete internal checklists to ensure all actions completed, including obtaining signed fact finders, proposal forms and Account Executive meeting minutes
- Raise diary entries for outstanding information on all new business inceptions and renewed policies
- Action diary entries as required
- Obtain discounting approval for Directors where discounting applied and / or Fee in Lieu arrangements in place
- Sending policy documentation and policy wordings to clients once broker approved
- To protect the interests of client and insurer to achieve the best outcome
What are we looking for in our next Administration Assistant?
- Competent in the use of Microsoft programmes including Excel and Word
- Must possess a professional telephone manner and have experience in communicating directly with customers and insurers
- Knowledge of insurance industry is desirable but not essential
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads efficiently
- Candidate must possess a strong customer centric work ethic
- To be able to take ownership of situations and tasks, seeing matters through to completion
- An understanding of the importance to act in a compliant manner within current Regulatory guidelines
- A desire to grow and learn with the role, which is seen as a development step towards a career in insurance.
