Operational Governance Manager

Purpose of the Role
This exciting remote based opportunity has arisen to join our growing Bravo Network Operations Team.
This middle management opportunity will support the Operations and Governance Lead with the delivery of operational and governance framework in line with regulatory/contractual requirements and Platform policy/procedures.
Some travel will be required with occasional overnight stays so willingness to travel to our Harrogate, Leeds and London offices is necessary.
What you will do
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
- Support the delivery of operational efficiencies, ensuring policy and processes are documented, interface with each other and relevant systems and are reviewed at least annually.
- Support the business by logging, reviewing and approving documentation/business requests as required (for example financial promotions, due diligence activities, internal policy and process).
- Support the due diligence activities in relation to member and other third-party relationships.
- Manage and monitor member onboarding activity.
- Conduct monitoring and regular reporting activities to meet Platform Business Standards and Bravo requirements in relation to internal business and member risk(s).
- Undertake trend analyses, liaising with colleagues to ensure remedial action is monitored through to implementation.
- Regular reporting of agreed Operational Governance and Risk information. Escalation of urgent issues or concerns as circumstances dictate.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good technical and working knowledge of the FCA regulatory regimes, ideally within an insurance market but wider financial services experience considered.
- Broad knowledge and application of contract law in relation to business and related agreements.
- Experience within operational risk management, change management, risk management or governance roles within General Insurance.
- Background in process improvement.
