Claims Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Claims Team Leader to join us at Everywhen. This role will focus on the oversight and administration of delegated authority (DA) arrangements, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting, and effective liaison with insurer partners and external auditors. You will also manage your own claims and clients.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of DA claims processes, including oversight of insurer reporting, financial reconciliation, and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. Key duties include:
- Monitoring and reconciling DA account balances, with proactive follow-up on uncleared payments
- Preparing insurer bordereaux and submitting performance reports to key insurer partners, including Aviva, Zurich, Covea, and NIG
- Coordinating insurer returns, such as KPI submissions, adjustment fee reports, and Consumer Duty data
- Managing the collation and distribution of audit materials, including DA summaries for external auditors and audit scores for insurer reporting
- Supporting the execution of handler file audits and post-audit activity in line with insurer requirements
- Producing and escalating surge-related claims reports to appropriate insurer contacts as required
We are seeking a highly organised and diligent individual with a strong background in claims management, ideally within a delegated authority or MGA environment. The ideal candidate will possess:
- In-depth knowledge of insurer reporting, bordereaux production, and claims governance
- Strong analytical and financial reconciliation skills
- Experience in coordinating audits and external compliance reviews
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and insurer representatives
- A proactive and structured approach to managing competing priorities and deadlines
