Change Delivery Manager

Purpose of the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team, reporting to the Head of Operational Change and working remotely you will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic projects.
You will need to understand the project requirements and identify solutions to consistently adopt change delivery and manage oversight of small change.
What you will do
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:
- Manage the Change team and govern controls to ensure timely execution of change and delivery within appropriate frameworks.
- Manage change from inception to delivery including release, BAU, handover, simplification and efficiency.
- Drive change to support customer facing staff by sharing best practice and automating process to drive trading.
- Oversee business change case reviews and approval process to support prioritisation and seek optimal solutions.
- Support change and operational consistency to mitigate poor customer outcomes and deliver within budget.
- Design and deliver launch pack and trading notes to support implementation of change initiatives prior to launch.
- Lead on data retention and removal to deliver GDPR requirements and mitigate data risk.
- Collate and review book moves, working with the business to identify and agree the best solution to deliver the required outcome.
- Drive root cause analysis to understand the impact of change, take appropriate remedial action and report on change by providing meaningful MI to track and monitor change implementation.
Who we are looking for
- Insurance experience as you will need to understand terminology to manage projects and deliver change.
- Confident and assertive communicator, capable of sharing written and verbal information effectively and able to quantify and present ideas succinctly.
- Adaptable, with experience of developing and fostering strong working relationships with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
- Track record of improving delivering small change and project management experience preferred, with strong administrative and organisational skills.
- An appreciation and working knowledge of regulatory / legislative framework within the Insurance Industry.
- Experience of working on Acturis or Open GI PAS system preferred but is not essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of managing and delivering change across a complex organisation.
- An ability to prioritise, use initiative & to manage stakeholder expectations.
