Job Outline
• To provide management and direction to the motor broking and customer management team/resource and provide leadership and motivation in achieving sales and development targets.
• To work with the Sales Manager to develop income opportunities from existing clients and new, creating plans and strategies to convert opportunities into income.
• To provide accurate management information on motor broking process, market opportunities and team performance.
• To develop effective motor broking strategies that support company goals, targets and objectives.
Objectives / Responsibilities
• Management of the motor broking team in relation to new business sales on an ongoing basis including conducting structured review meetings and away days.
• Prepares action plans for individuals/teams for effective search of markets.
• Builds effective communications with motor broking team to establish training and development needs and provide insight for improvement of sales and activity performance.
• To assist motor broking team in preparation of proposals and presentations.
• To control expenses within budget guidelines.
• Income post and diary management.
• Develops a business plan and motor broking strategy for the market that achieves company sales targets, including effective use of markets available/prospects and forecasting.
• Develops a motor broking strategy for the business.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Motivates the team using local incentives/promotions and celebrates success.
• Recruitment, selection and assessment of brokers in accordance with group strategy and policy.
