Credit Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a home-based Credit Controller to join us in this remote role. Reporting into the Credit Control Team Leader, you will collaborate closely within a supportive team and also independently, fostering key internal and external relationships with our broker stakeholders. You will be responsible for achieving monthly collection targets and efficiently handling day-to-day queries with brokers and underwriting colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective credit control process.

What does the role of a Credit Controller here involve?
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all the following and more:
- Manage the timely and effective collection of debts owed by brokers.
- Resolve queries both internally and externally regarding outstanding premiums.
- Allocate daily receipts to the underwriting systems.
- Provide accounts information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide monthly MI reports on performance.
- Assist with the maintenance of procedural documents.
- Managing relationships with third part finance providers.
What are we looking for in our next Credit Controller?
This is an opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller, ideally with experience in insurance or financial services. We are looking for someone has:
- Experience in a credit control environment.
- AAT qualification is preferable.
This is an opportunity for an individual who wants to be part of a highly skilled team with strong communication skills across all mediums and can tailor information to their audience. You will need to have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exceptional organisational skills, enabling them to manage multiple priorities effectively.
