International Service Specialist - Consumer

An exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs largest independent Insurance Brokers as an International Service Specialist. We are looking for someone who will support other colleagues in the team and work alongside clients ensuring high service levels are always delivered.
Our International Service Specialists are part of the first point of contact for all client and provider queries and issues as they arise and you will have the skills and knowledge to understand what actions are required to meet the expectations of all parties.
What you will do as an International Service Specialist:
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your head of area you will develop your own objectives, focusing on the following and more:
- To provide daily support to the international consumer consultant
- Ensure the smooth running of assigned client portfolio on a day-to-day basis
- Develop, maintain and cultivate a constructive and professional relationship with Consultant, Clients, Broker Partners and Insurers at all levels
- Support Consultant with new business opportunities
- Complete comparison tables and compliance documents – putting together comparison tables and our company compliance documents for consumer policies. Making sure everything is accurate.
- Co-ordinate administration of schemes, including invoicing, accounts & communication material
- Proactively initiate and manage the gathering of all relevant data for each client’s scheme renewal and always ensure accuracy and assist with the analysis of data as required.
- Prepare template client renewals as requested by the Consultant
- Independently respond to queries from insurers in a pro-active manner, meeting agreed SLAs and keeping all parties updated.
- Ensure that any correspondence received and issued is checked for discrepancies and challenge as appropriate.
- Ensure that client records and in house system is always kept up to date including new business, retention and financial information.
- Attend Insurers training and product training as required
- To work within the requirements of group, compliance strategy and treating clients fairly
- Be on hand to always support with client queries

- Analytical and good judgement
- Exceptional effective verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised and can respond well under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Working well as part of a team as well as being able to work for periods using own initiative
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office Programs
- Efficient and Reliable
