Senior Claims Handler

We are seeking a Senior Claims Handler to join our dynamic team, managing claims efficiently and effectively while offering total commitment to our clients and colleagues. Claims is at the heart of our service, and our clients rely on us to resolve issues, keep them informed, and advocate on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of commercial claims, ensuring accurate recording and adherence to Group Procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of claims service delivery in line with the Claims Operational Procedures Manual and Acturis Best Practice Guide.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to produce timely claims information and reports for client renewals.
- Support broking and new business teams by providing quality claims data and showcasing our claims proposition to both existing and prospective clients.
- Attend client meetings and provide technical advice, including emergency support when required.
- Analyze claims statistics to identify trends and support risk management and claims defensibility.
- Promptly escalate complaints, conflicts of interest, or Errors & Omissions in line with group policy.
- Mentor and support junior team members, acting as a technical referral point and contributing to their development.
Requirements
- Broad technical knowledge of commercial insurance classes and claims handling.
- Strong customer service experience with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Cert CII qualified or working towards qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Resilient and confident in both oral and written communication.
